Rainy Weekend Ahead

Sadly, the Mother’s Day weekend forecast is cool and rainy. The good news is that Eleanor Coppola’s “Paris Can Wait”, starring the fab Diane Lane, just opened, and my one-time Vogue colleague Plum Sykes’ new book “Party Girls Die In Pearls” is out.

  • Probably evidence that I’ve been spending way too much time on NAP, but are those Chloe pants that Diane is wearing in the promo shot for “Paris Can Wait”? Kind of sounds like another “Under the Tuscan Sun”, but who cares? Such a delightful film!

  • I saw Paris Can Wait at the Tribeca Film Festival and loved it. I think you will enjoy it a lot!

  • In the spirit of the Kentucy Derby, CMT has been re-running Secretariat. Diane Lane is a doll, and her wardrobe in this sweet movie (about my favorite animal ever) is perfection. Running around barns in those block-heel sling backs, shifts, straight skirts and twin sets, and horse country scenes is serenity in a world gone mad.
