Fave Re-run

Bullitt Inspired

I ran this post a few years ago, but it still inspires me:

Hair loosely tied back with a black ribbon, the camel coat, Chanel bag and jeans– Jacqueline Bisset’s style in Bullitt is on my inspiration board right now.

  • I couldn’t agree more- timeless, classic, very chic. But let’s not forget about Steve Mc Queen- equally dashing…

  • I remember this post and love Jacqueline Bisset’s roles and her natural beauty style. Like Ali MacGraw, Katharine Ross, and so many actresses of their time, she had a softness and depth in her appearance rarely seen among actresses today. After all the various cosmetic/aesthetic/lifting/filling/implant procedures actresses routinely and regularly undergo today, they end up looking teflon and hard.

  • They were glamorous. Steve McQueen. The King of Cool. Flawed. But still a King. The Thomas Crown Affair is good too.

  • I agree with Paula on all fronts. Those actresses were some of my favorites growing up and definitely influenced my style then and now. I must also add Faye Dunaway in Network and Camilla Sparv in Downhill Racer.

  • I agree with Paula as well. I feel like watching this movie today.
