Ines de la Fressange x Uniqlo
Ines de la Fressange’s shop in Paris is firmly on my radar these days and I love the pieces in her fall collaboration with Uniqlo. Sadly, by the time I launched this post, the jacket was sold out in green. I’m sure with the high demand it will come back in stock. Also, this duffel coat has a higher wool content, a complaint on other versions from them.

I agree the designs are good, but the woolen items are so scratchy. I don’t live near a Uniqlo but when I’m in Paris, I usually stop by. They are mostly sold out, but the few items I can touch are not wearable unless you live in Antarctica.
The green color on the corduroy jacket is pretty, but the silhouette is quite masculine. I personally prefer a more feminine shape, fitted, with a collar (e.g., Veronica Beard jackets).
I think the green jacket is very stylish – would be a great finishing piece with jeans. Both of these coats reflect Ines’s French gamine style!
I bought two jackets in Berlin two summers ago and I love them!! Ines is très chic!
Love the green jacket…feels very Nili Lotan.
Banana Republic has a similar looking olive green (and taupe color) military style jacket in a wool mix. It’s a lovely jacket but was long on me and the sizing seems to run large. I ended up not buying it bc I live in CA and just won’t get the wear out of it here. Just my two cents 🙂 Happy day all!
