‘Femme Sous Influence’

The fifties-inspired structured bag is having quite a moment, especially in this November Vogue Paris story. I think it looks modern with jeans and an oversized sweater. BTW, the tee in that collage is getting rave reviews.

  • Okay, this post has confirmed that my next bag must be structured and black! Preston, do you know if the bag at top is Mark Cross? Are the others the Mansour Graviel (sp) bag you recently posted? Are there others you think I must consider?

  • Hi Paula, the first bag is by Mango and the others are Céline. But, you are right, my favorite structured bag is the Mansur Gavriel.

  • What a truly beautiful photograph- I love the elegance of the first photograph and its era atmospheric quality.

  • Hi Preston,

I love this story! Where did you find the credits? There’s quite a few items that I love.

    Thanks!

  • Hi Kate,

The issue should be on the newsstand. If you want me to identify anything, lmk- I’ll be back in NY tomorrow night.
