Weekend Arts

I’m on my last-ever college tours today (wishful thinking) and have a ton of catching up to do. Top of my list are the Yayoi Kusama exhibitions at both the uptown and downtown David Zwirner galleries—especially the “Infinity” rooms in the Chelsea space. And according to The New York Times, Greta Gerwig’s film “Lady Bird” is “big-screen perfection”.

  • Do what you have to do to see the Yayoi Kusama exhibit. It is so worth it! I saw it in Seattle this summer and was blown away.

  • Lady Bird was so great – don’t miss it. Would love to see the Kusama exhibitions but a bit too far for this weekend.

  • Tried to see the Yayoi exhibition in Chelsea but the queue was massive and it was our last day. I did see her retrospective at Tate Modern a few years ago and a more recent exhibition in a London gallery and so didn’t feel too bad about skipping this one.
