Layer-Up

It snowed yesterday while I was on a college tour, which reminded me that many readers swear by Uniqlo’s Heattech undergarments—it really is about layering to stay warm.

  • I can vouch for HeatTech- wore it on our trip to the Arctic Circle and it kept me warm!

  • I am impressed with Heattech for the kids. Just ordered some for myself. The Uniglo T shirt you hightlighted awhile ago is so good. I ordered multiples. Uniglo is great for basics. Now on the hunt for the perfect tank.

  • Thank you Preston for this tip. I wasn’t aware of these pieces. Nice for holiday stocking stuffers too! I just ordered 4 pieces for a staggering $65

  • I totally endorse heat tech as well. Couldn’t winter without mine.

  • Having moved to VT from San Diego two years ago, I’ve become a huge fan of Ibex. Their merino is so soft and wears incredibly well. The joke around here is that we tire of items before they wear out! Their Woolies undergarments come in 3 thicknesses and I love the Woolies 1 and 2 lines. We’ve officially crossed into the half of the year where I wear it every single day (sigh). And no, I do not work for them. They’ve just made our transition to this climate so much easier.
