Vintage Gifts

Still need to shop for presents? I put up a post on Palais about giving something vintage, even if it’s from your own pantry or linen closet. Think of it as recycling those random silver spoons you never use (I have a drawerful).

  • This is a great idea. I, too, have so many silver odds and ends that I never use. A silver serving spoon wrapped in a linen tea towel would be a great hostess gift.

  • I love this idea – I think we all have plenty and don’t need to keep buying new stuff. x

  • I have drawers and shelves full of pieces that I will never use. This is such a great idea and I can’t believe it never occurred to me.
