Strapless Evening

Yesterday’s post on party tights got me thinking about my tried-and-true (read tired) LBDs, especially for evening. With a cardigan thrown over my shoulders and buttoned at the neck, a simple, strapless dress would be a welcome addition to my limited evening wear repertoire.

  • For me black is best as I always seem to be standing near someone with a glass of red wine if I wear any other color!

  • The top image is exquisite! But then, it’s hard not to look elevated standing in front of Roman ruins. I love the jewel/brooch at the waist. I have seen some fabulous capelets and and stoles this season which would finish off a strapless dress nicely, too!
