Blazé Milano Exclusive Capsule Collection

I’m sure many of you have already seen this video, below, of System Magazine’s founder Elizabeth von Guttman interviewing the designers of Blazé Milano on their exclusive capsule collection for Matches Fashion.

Popular with show-goers since 2014, I credit my friend Kathy for encouraging me to post on the brand last summer. Kathy was an immediate fan of the oversized blazers in gorgeous menswear fabrics—and she was spot-on. I love that they are inspired by riding jackets, something dear to my heart.

  • Thanks P, as you know I’m a fan and always get compliments on mine. Just ordered the herringbone after deliberating for awhile….and I’ll report back. For me, these a truly timeless blazers.

  • Very lovely- the change of detail on the pocket gives the jacket a sophisticated and simultaneously slightly artistic vibe. Would like great with jodhpurs and boots too.

  • I have been a fan of the brand, love the style and own a few in wool crepe. The herringbone came last night and I was surprised by the weight and stiffness of the fabric- no drape at all. I’m waiting for the Prince of Wales fabric to arrive and will report back.

  • I got the Lady Anne herringbone, and should have read the description closer. I had a very nice conversation with the Blaze Milano women on IG this morning. It’s a thick Harris Tweed, which is a very good quality fabric, but just too heavy for my use. By nature, Harris Tweed is rough and thick, and it’s part of the charm, if you need or want that look. My error.
