The “BB” Pump

The Manolo Blahnik Pascalare boots and “BB” pumps look crazy chic in the Fall 2018 Totême show. Happily, classics always circle back around.

  • i got the bb pumps and i love how comfortable and chic they are. I am usually in pain after wearing high heels but not with this pumps, they are a great investment

  • Love the Toteme looks. The BB pumps are my go to sophisticated shoe. Where do you think I can track down those “over the foot” leggings? I don’t even know what to call them!

  • I am sure the leggings are part of the Toteme collection.

  • Totally classic. Do you think the lowered heel pair is just as chic? I can’t manage the higher heel.

  • I’m debating over the BB in 90 vs 100/105 heel. 105 looks killer, but might be too painful!

  • I have them in black, gray and red suede. I mostly wear them in the evenings.. I don’t think I could manage the thin heel for the whole day! Best for narrow feet. All the pumps from other brands slip off the back of my feet.

  • The BB is so beautiful. Just a perfectly shaped shoe. I’ve been in the market for a new pair, and the 90mm are calling my name. Thanks for the reminder!

  • If you want an equally chic but budget alternative, consider JCrew Elsie. I have a pair from 3 years ago that keeps getting resoled. I have been wearing them to the office almost everyday.

  • I just purchased these in the 50mm heel in leopard print a couple of months ago. Now I want the black. 😉 They are smashing!

  • And the pointy toe has always looked good to me.

  • Love this classic, beautiful shoe! To me, the 90 is the perfect compromise between sexy and wearable – and I have to go up a whole size relative to other designer brands.

  • Love the BB and the Pascalare, with the Pascalare being my daily winter shoe. Question for the KICommunity–any recommendations for a good suede treatment? I live in DC and within the city, the shoe repair places are ok (good job on actual repairs, not sure I’d fully trust them to do any sort of suede treatment) so I’d rather try it myself, and then it’s only me to blame if something goes wrong.

  • Thanks, Preston! Will do.
