My daughter is a huge fan of Ella Mills and has been making Deliciously Ella Strawberry Chia Jam. With just three ingredients, it’s fast and delicious. Ms. Mills’s cookbooks are packed with yummy recipes.
Strawberry Chia Jam
As the raspberry chia jam was so popular we wanted to add a strawberry version too. It’s such a versatile base recipe, so feel free to use it with blackberries, blueberries or apricots too.
– 250g fresh or frozen strawberries, 2 1/2 cups
– 3 tablespoons of maple syrup
– 1 tablespoon chia seeds
Place the strawberries and maple syrup into a small pan over a medium-low heat and cook until the strawberries are soft, about 10 minutes.
Once soft, mash the berries using a fork or masher, until smooth. Add the chia seeds and cook for 10 more minutes before removing from the heat and leaving to cool.
