Charlotte Casiraghi: Up Close and Personal

A few years ago, I met Charlotte Casiraghi at a Cartier event and she was just as beautiful, if not even more so, in person. She was, also, incredibly nice, which is beautiful, too. The hair and makeup, in these pictures by Daniel Jackson for September Vogue Germany, is stunning in it’s simplicity.

  • She’s absolutely stunning and I love the first photo. I’m getting tired of all models doing the grumpy, pouty face, I find it annoying.

  • She is stunning.
And, I agree w/Kathy – pouty, bored faces are so uninteresting. I find myself more and more turned off by the products the models are showcasing/endorsing and I have gone out of my way not to purchase in several instances. Interested, curious, and optimistic faces are much more engaging.
Nonetheless, thanks for the post Preston!

  • She is the spitting image of her mother!!

  • I’m in complete agreement with Kathy – who needs pouty, sullen, and borderline angry models moping down the runway wearing tens of thousands of dollars worth of clothing they don’t have to buy themselves? I commented awhile back on Dior models having a badittude over God knows what – grow up, do your job, be an adult. And designers need to quit trying to make social commentary via their collections. All of the women I know just really want is to feel attractive and stylish and have some fun shopping. Enough with telegraphing personal beliefs via (extremely expensive) clothes or angry message t-shirts.

Ms. Casiraghi is nothing short of beautiful. Green eyes are so special! And I’ve always admired that she continues to look like herself.

  • Digging out that brow and lash growth serum that I keep forgetting to use! She is positively radiant, but so nice to hear she’s kind, too.
