Vogue Paris

Two of my favorite things are in November Vogue Paris — a henley (Chanel, of course) and clogs. Clogs are in just about every story in the issue.

You know I share your love of clogs. Wearing a pair each day to Pilates and now everyone is asking where I found mine. I am partial to the Swedish Troentorp brand.
They are quick to toss on and add a chic touch to work out wear…
I love the idea of clogs but never have purchased them before. Do you have any recommendations?
Love clogs all year round. Best brand for chic and versatile styles are Penelope Chilvers.
I have 2 pairs of Saint Laurent clogs (black and brown) and No.6 clog boots. Sold 2 pairs by Isabel Marant because I couldn’t walk in them without tripping.
I love clogs and have worn them since the 70’s. My favorites are from the Swedish company Kerstin Adolphson. The only thing I love more are my repetto ballet slippers.
I like Swedish Hasbeens. I only wear them around the house as I can’t walk in them! I like the vibe though!
Thank you Preston and Melanie! I am excited to give them a try.
I recently bought No. 6 clogs with the high heel and No. 6 clog boots with shearling. They look great. My feet start to hurt by the end of the day though. I don’t know if it is because of the wood footbed or if it just takes time to get used to them. I would love to hear the opinions of other clog wearers.
I remember wearing them in the late 60’s and early 70’s in navy suede. Then we moved to Hawaii for four years and I haven’t worn them since. Maybe it’s time to get a new pair.
I love my Gucci clogs from a two or three years ago. They are surprisingly comfortable, too! I’m still working on pairing with socks, just haven’t hit that look quite right.
I spy my ‘two favorite things:’ doughnuts and low pressure card games. : )))
Oh Paula, your comment made me bark laugh out loud! Henleys just don’t work for my body type and I’m afraid you’re going to have to do some real convincing on the clogs….will consider all the advice.
I love clogs, always have. I purchased the black Funkis clogs you posted on your site awhile ago. I recently purchased a Troentorp which fits well and has a thicker rubber base – so no “clomp- clomp” clomping sound like my Funkis ones, however, they are not as modern looking.
My daughter and I popped into Kerstin Adolphson on a trip to a Paris a few summers ago and both walked out wearing our new clogs. They became the only shoes we wore the rest of the trip. We walked miles a day in comfort. No blisters or pain! I still wear and love them. Your post inspired me to go online and order the all black. Can’t wait to get them.
I won’t be doing the clogs but I loved the henley and picked up a nice, quality, dark gray one at Cabelas’s. Not quite the same as Chanel, but it works and looks great!
