It Item

There are a lot of great slides and mules right now, the “It” shoe for Spring. Toteme’s are chic, but they are not ideal for running around, or even walking a few blocks. Along with many stylists (I’ve spotted them in at least 5 editorials), I love these two by Prada.
Heeled mule, and embossed here, flat mule and croc effect here.
What's New
Belted leather biker jacket
Triple Francois 18kt gold vermeil earrings
Jimmy Leather Puffer Jacket
Le 57 quilted leather shoulder bag
Blade velvet slingback pumps
Logo-embellished leather loafers
Crocheted Cotton-Blend Midi Skirt
Delcie tie-detailed ramie midi dress
Gate knotted leather slippers
Postcard fringed crocheted straw bucket hat
Santos de Cartier metal shield sunglasses
Preston, why are the Toteme’s not optimal for walking around? Also love these two Prada’s.
The vamp is low for me
While these are beautiful I am finding myself unable to wear difficult shoes when wearing clean, white tennis shoes are so much more fashionable/comfortable than ever.
I know… just bought a pair of Common Projects sneakers, white with a beige sole, beyond comfortable.
Preston, I just bought the Common Projects Tournament (they run a whole size big so I am waiting for their replacement). I am hoping they are comfortable and not just good looking.
Love the Prada flats with the Mary Jane like strap, feel like they would be easy to wear. I just gave away a similar (to the Toteme) Weitzman pair because of the strain of keeping them on my feet while walking. Agree with you and Karen about comfort being key, so even if they’re “over” I will continue to wear the $#%& out of my Gucci mules.
I am in my Gucci slides as I write this…
My favorite travel pumps are Prada, closed heel and toe, a little kitten heel – among the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever owned! Having high arches, I’ve never been able to wear mules, but maybe with the Mary Jane strap, these would stay on better?
