NYC Weekend
Our girls are away this Sunday so we celebrated Father’s Day early. Instead, my husband and I will have a date lunch at the reopened Pastis (Yay!) and hit the Whitney for “Spilling Over: Painting Color in the 1960s”. And, just as I was reading the NYT’s review, my friend emailed that she’s enjoying Elizabeth Gilbert’s “City of Girls”, which takes place in 1940s NYC – synchronicity.

Sounds like a recipe for a lovely weekend. Enjoy!
I’ve just started reading “City of Girls.” It’s wonderful!
Thank you…just ordered the book. And I have to decide on a weekend in NYC this fall…
I just listened to Elizabeth Gilbert on an episode of a GOOP podcast. It is a great interview you should check out.
Sounds amazing, enjoy yourselves. Now I really must read this book.
Yea Pastis! Best espresso I’ve ever had!
