Give Them The Slip
A blazer over a slip dress isn’t a new combo, but for some reason this haute couture show-goer makes it look fresh. I wear my midi-length, satin skirts with oversized sweaters from fall-to-spring and with a tee in the summer, but I’m going to see if I can pull-off this look. Maybe a cardigan is more my speed…

Yes!
those shoes!!! any idea who makes those sandals? thanks
I was thinking a long sleeve t and my satin skirt for work today. Maybe slides but I have some walking…great idea on how to restyle our closets. Thank you, Preston.
Love this look. I love the sandals!
I have a question about this look, which I have tried and haven’t found a solution too. The satin sort of clings and gets static (which is even looks like in this above photo) – and I don’t want to wear another slip under it. Any ideas?
I use an anti static spray
I also have a bottle of anti static spray in a cupboard at the back door. This is my absolute favourite kind of look: put some thought and care into it (shade selection, gorgeous bag, current item) and then out the door and no more worries about it (pushed up sleeves, comfy slides). ❤️
Satin is such a rich, milky fabric – I just love how the fabric works here! This inspires me to add more satin to my wardrobe!
