Tom Ford and The Row in Black & White

NYFW SS20 is moving at a nice pace since the number of shows and days have been cut down (bravo!). Hopefully Tom Ford, the new chairman of the CFDA, can bring some glory back to the beleaguered NYFW.

Speaking of TF, he and The Row showed yesterday and here are the looks that caught my eye — you can’t go wrong with black & white.

  • The large drawstring pouch from Tom Ford is awesome and the Row is always elegant. I used to have conversations with my friends who were personal shoppers in Saks. Every season, they’d ask me what I was buying. I always thought they were using my taste to market to their clients but I didn’t care. However, when asked the question in 2006, I said I was buying items from the Row designed by the Olsen twins. One of them laughed at me. A few weeks later, I received an apology after she saw the collection in Barneys. I guess I got the last laugh!
