  • Oh… I love that dress, Preston. I’ve been reading about the return to 90’s minimalism. Some of us never left. Ha.

  • I think the brown will be so flattering with an end-of-summer tan. How does it run size wise?

  • This is the look of the moment. So basic. I love it.

  • I have to say, classic clothes like this never go out of style and are the perfect canvas for individual touches. And Prada knocks it out of the park every collection when it comes to chic basics at a decent price point. I never feel like I’m spending too much because her pieces are well crafted, lined (why have designers stopped lining their pants and skirts- it is SO annoying), and fits every figure. She’s really in tune with her client base. Can’t wait to read your review, Preston!

  • Very nice! Interesting how they call this grey, when it’s more taupe. Recently bought a YSL flat pouch and it was same thing, it said light grey. It was beige, which is what I preferred.

  • @Sue Burpee: Amen!

  • No matter the color is just perfection! So classic it will last forever. Let us know!

  • Greige color is everywhere today! A gray with brown undertones like “Metropolitan” is the 2019 color of Benjamin Moore paint. That being said, thanks for the suggestion, I just ordered to the dress too. I love the way it flows behind the model when she walks.

  • Gorgeous dress. Preston, please do post a review. I review yours and a few other blogs archives regularly and that is the one thing I find missing. A review after it was bought and if you kept it. It makes me think you actually buy and keep all you recommend which I know can’t be the case.In any case, I would love to also know how you style things one you do decide to keep a piece. Thank you.

  • It’s interesting how stage lighting can change the color of a textile. I’ll leave taupe to you ladies. That brown is too close to the rest of me to be flattering.

  • Stunning dress. Love the grey!

    Christine DaleySeptember 23rd, 2019  11:39 PM

  • @Yasmin Completely agree, please review and let us know how it worked out. Post a picture!

  • Shouldn’t the dress be silk at that price point, not polyester?

    RachelSeptember 26th, 2019  9:31 AM

  • The dress is lovely and the color is somewhere between the two. However, the waist is way too small on me and the next size up is sold out. To be continued…

    PrestonSeptember 26th, 2019  4:36 PM

  • Sue Burpee, me too, never left 90’s minimalism…

    IsabelSeptember 28th, 2019  1:03 PM

  • @Rachel good point! I didn’t check it but you are right, it should be silk at this price, especially that raw material would not be more than 100USD for this dress, it looked to me like Silk Habutai which turn to be poliester…

    IsabelSeptember 28th, 2019  5:35 PM

  • Hi Preston, I just checked here to see if your dress arrived and if you posted your thoughts. I’m so sorry the fit is off and the next size is sold out. I hope you’ll be able to find in stock at one of their boutiques. Good luck and thanks for the update.
