It Item

Monday Morning Must-Have

A trench would be the obvious item to highlight today as we head into a week of rainy days, but the trench has been on everyone’s radar for so many seasons already — and how many do you actually need?

Sweaters are a different story, the more the merrier. Long time readers know that I’m a Fair Isle fanatic and am constantly adding to my collection.

I have the black &Daughter sweater above. Worn with a cotton mock turtleneck resolves the itchy issue. And I’m going to try the Ralph Lauren bottom today. I only want one in brown, so it’s either the Celine above or Frame‘s, which I posted on last week.

  • I’m a sweater girl, and I see the appeal but I just can’t go here. My mom was a knitter …. therefor as a kid I had one in every colour.

  • I wish the yummy 1970s era candy-colored fair isles by Deans would make a comeback.

  • I would love a Fair Isle cardigan that isn’t itchy! Does anyone make one in cashmere? Love, Pamela Taft
