  • Gorgeous!

  • I agree these pieces are non negotiable. No matter what trends come and go these are always there. Along with clogs, original Gucci loafers and flared jeans and I need the camel coat to have a belt so I can wrap it!

  • Want them all. Sigh…

  • Any idea where the cardigan in the last photo is from? Preston do you have a great cardigan pick?

  • Yes please! Any recommendations on a camel coat? Thank you.

  • The cardigan is Toteme

  • All perfection. I’m only interested in classics right now too. Is it an age thing?

  • I would wear every single thing in this post. I’m in my late twenties and don’t think it’s an age thing. The world these days is full of overwhelming, fast fashion and it’s become way too much. Going back to the classics is good for the soul!

  • Like Michelle, my late-twenties daughter is shopping classic pieces as well. We use the words “clutter” and “noise” to describe the steady parade of’designer’ clothing trotted out in the name of fashion. Is the talent pool is waning? I’m just glad it’s cold enough now that all of those frilly off-the-shoulder Daisy Mae dresses (Lil Abner’s girlfriend) are back in the closet! : ))

  • I too find myself always returning to my classics after trying trends. Wish Id kept more. Wonderful on point post, and so pretty, as always Preston.
