‘Running Up That Hill’

’80s styles were not my thing except for anything by the early minimalist designer Zoran — I had a closetful and wish I still had every piece. But, I digress. Kate Bush was my ’80s music muse and Meg Myers‘ cover of Bush’s love anthem “Running Up That Hill” is fantastic.

  • Always on point! Love Kate. Love the song. Woman’s Work from the She’s Having A Baby Soundtrack, also gets me…heck the entire album. Amazing. ❤️

  • I am with you on the clothing styles, and I am a big fan of 80’s music. Surprising to me, as its not the decade of my youth, but rather one of raising young children and Sesame Street. I appreciate hearing about your music likes!

  • I still have my Zoran pieces. Mostly all black but also a great short blackish-copper silk taffeta jacket I haven’t thought of in years (decades, actually). I think I should pull it out from the back of the closet and wear it again. Thanks for the prompt, Preston.

  • I have so many pieces of Zoran tucked in storage. The fabric and workmanship is beautiful. I have to revisit them.
