Roll On!
One of the stops on my holiday pop-up crawl last week was Paravel luggage at 810 Madison. I recently retired an ancient, first generation Vuitton rolling bag after I borrowed my husband’s Rimowa carry-on for an (almost) trip to London in October — lightweight and innovative use of space are what sold me. We are giving the girls new luggage for Christmas (this is when I’m glad they don’t read kic) and the styling, price point, and sustainability commitment of the Paravel line fit the bill.
I like paravel. Haven’t tried the luggage yet. Curious how it wears. Definitely appeals to me more than those hard sided bags!Their personalized packing cubes make a great little gift and their crossbody bag would work nicely on the airplane to hold iPhone, etc. I always use a tiny crossbody on the plane as an extra third bag. It can always be tucked in the larger carry on to comply with the airlines if they complain, which no one ever does .This pair looks great. Thanks Preston!
Ok, I agree with Paula. Loving the luggage! The price is amazing. I only use my LV roller on occasion but use the heck out of my T Anthony. I need a New T Anthony because I need my luggage and the other pieces are like new. However, this does match my new the Row tote!
I love my Rimowa and find it very light. I did order the packing bags from Paravel awhile ago but was very disappointed in the quality of the nylon fabric.
I never quite understood the concept of packing cubes until a recent car trip to a Fairmont in Canada. 4 of us and no dressers or drawers. I thought I was being efficient by packing for us all in one giant suitcase (needed the trunk space for cold weather gear) but it just meant everybody digging thru to find their clothes and tossing things everywhere (as teen boys do. . . . ). I’m off to order monogramed packing cubes for next time!
Also curious about the Paravel, I’m a huge fan of Rimowa but do like the styling of the Paravel.
Looks nice! My T Anthony canvas travel bag has lasted 20+ years.
