Looks Good, Smells Good, It’s All Good

Being stuck inside has fueled my obsession with the painted copper flowers from Erbavoglio Milano. They are handmade and stay beautiful forever, two things I appreciate. A bit pricey so I’m trying to decide which one to start off my collection. Paired with a Cire Trudon candle would be perfection. I’ve been burning the smaller La Petite Bougie candles, they make great gifts, too.

  • This floral sculpture is just beautiful – and talk about a ‘forever piece!’

  • I used to buy Cire Trudon till I found out that they are actually not this what I was sure I am paying for: beeswax candles…Glass jar and a nice label is not enough. I truly liked La Marquise…Happy & healthy Easter everyone!

  • Please share which candle scent you selected.
My friend, and I are trying to make a decision.
We are both fragrance addicts, and so candles are one more dimension of that.
Also, wish one of your post could discuss tea recommendations.
Hopefully, your readers will add their choices.
    Thank you.

  • My favorite Cire Trudon scent is Abd El Kader, which is Moroccan mint tea. My second fav is Salta in the beautiful blue glass jar. When I drink tea, I love English Breakfast (yes, boring). Coffee is my weakness.

  • These are gorgeous and will give joy for years to come. My candle stock is dwindling but I ordered the largest room diffuser/mister that I could from Saje. Also ordered uplifting oils not just sleepy oils so looking forward to them. Stay healthy Preston ❤️

  • Happy to weigh in on Cire Trudon! Like Preston, I adore Abd El Kader and never tire of it – 5 stars!!
Just ordered their newest, Ourika – iris and gardenia, which are among my very favorite flowers. A beautiful winter candle is Nazareth. Next up will be Manon – “As happy as a lark,” lavender, orange, and “soft soap.” Anything that conjures up fresh laundry and cupboards full of ironed sheets gets my vote.
For Springtime, my favorite candle remains Diptique’s Violette.

  • @Shelley, TWG tea is fantastic — and their boxes and jars make for fantastic gifts. I also love Terre d’Oc teas — their genmaicha loose tea is so good that it’s sold in Tokyo, and as an Indian, I love their spicy chai masala blend as well, really delicious.
