On My Mind

Field Trip

When we can, designer Agnes Baddoo and I are going to visit old friends in my new ‘hood. The very thought of this field trip makes me happy. I am excited to see environmental advocate and early kic profile Priscilla Woolworth and her Hudson Valley gardens. Then, on to the northwest corner of Connecticut to catch up with Elizabeth Warner, founder of Maasai Collections. Lizzie has enviable personal style and I haven’t seen her in far too long. It’s nice to have something to look forward to.

  • What a fun field trip. Just started following Elizabeth Warner – beautiful things from Africa. And of course love Agne’s bags and Priscilla did our vegetable garden when she still lived in LA. Have a great time.

  • Enjoy your time out of your home with your creative friends. I just pulled out my white leather “Agnes bag” for summer. I use it summer after summer. It never gets tired.

  • One day I will have one of Agnes’ bags. For now, I will be satisfied with her card holder!
