Resort 2021

Jil Sander

After the FW20 collection, I became a Jil Sander superfan. The Resort 2021 collection, filled with clean shapes and a neutral palette, is the epitome of understated elegance. Vogue put it perfectly “(t)he Meiers have built their fashion credentials around an almost obsessive care for quality, creating pieces that stand the test of time while being of the moment, with an emphasis on great execution.” When we resume in person meetings, this is how I want to dress.

  • So lovely. As you say, Preston, such clean shapes. Sigh. Hope I have somewhere to go to wear looks like these in the fall.

  • Awesome post and that tan coat! Best suit maker ever! And the collaboration with Uniqlo back in the day was my favorite, it was well made and I still get compliments on those old pieces I bought!

  • Very nice! I have long been a fan of Jil Sander but never bought any – I love that the line has stayed consistent in it’s devotion to minimalism.
The bags . . . not so much. My shoulders hurt looking at them, and gigantic bags are simply not practical.
