On My Mind

Show Some Love

“It’s not about having what you want. It’s wanting what you’ve got…” This Sheryl Crow lyric from her song “Soak Up The Sun” is my credo. Today is August 1, and this month I vow to wear beloved items that I haven’t reached for in a while — even if just around the house…

Holiday Boileau dress, K. Jacques sandals.

  • So chic. Are these tunic dresses true to size?

  • Love this!

  • As usual you are on target! One of my August “to-do” items is to start going through my fall and winter wardrobe and do a capsule “pandemic” collection with what I have. If things start looking up we are planning a trip the week after Thanksgiving “down South”. That will allow me to quickly fill any “holes” before we head out.

  • I was between sizes and went up because I have a bust.

  • Very timely and there’s that beautiful colour again. I’ve bought some new pieces in the last few months but I told my daughter the other day when we were standing in my closet, anything new, that’s for next year.

  • What would a holiday size 40 be equal to in US sizes?
    Thanks so much.

    StefanieAugust 3rd, 2020  11:32 AM

  • A French 40 is a US 8.

  • I’ve been a kic reader for almost 10 years and I think your motto is “buy well, wear forever.” You’ve taught me to make ‘lifetime’ purchases. Thank you
