Warm-Weather Countdown
I’m on a warm-weather countdown. We had an unseasonably balmy day last week, which was great and torturous at the same time. When it’s really warm I go short, and this is my preferred uniform.
I have the Petit Bateau T-shirt in a range of colors, both with and without the scallop trim. The non-scallop tee is longer and better for tucking into a skirt. This skirt is similar to mine — love these pockets. If I’m worried about a skirt being too short, I size up and have the sides taken in. When I wear my Chanel belt, I think of it as a piece of jewelry and let it stand alone. And the saint Laurent sandals are timeless, I live in my pair.
Honestly, all skirt lengths work.

What's New
Hi Preston, I’d love to know where you purchase your Petit Bateau t-shirts. Online? I’m in Canada and things are a bit trickier to source. My beloved Petit Bateau t-shirts are in need of an update, I’ve always purchased while away on holiday!
I am also feeling the call of spring…I have recently ordered 6 new T-shirts from Mate.
Hi Sue, I buy them on Amazon and a seller on Poshmark who had a ton of new ones.
I agree with you on short (maybe not this short) for warm weather. Midi is great fall – spring, unless the skirt is light-weight cotton.
Uniqlo’s Supima cotton round neck and V-neck t-shirts are amazing too if anyone is looking for less fitted ones. Their V necks aren’t too wide or deep.
Love the belt!
Yes! Color-story perfection for summer, even in a city. I also like the all black version of tee + skirt worn with white sandals
