Sacai Makes It Interesting

I post on Sacai often, yet only own one dress from 2012. I bought this knee-length Bottega Veneta skirt (it’s a tad Jane Jetson) and I’m trying these Gucci flats (I kind of regret not keeping the white ones last March) — both items are super classic and would benefit from an interesting top. Sacai ticks that box, especially this sweater and coat.

  • I just bought a slightly weird short-sleeved Sacai puffer for fall. I like these fun off-beat pieces; they do shake things up.

  • This post gives me that excited jump when I see something I love.

  • I have an army green Sacai bomber jacket that’s off beat, but very versatile. I love the sweater but not in love with the coat.

  • Love Sacai line- Have a navy wool coat with a puffer top layer that zips that makes even the plainest outfits special. Interestingly, it looks more and more classic each season!

  • I love Sacai! I have a few pieces that are timeless to me. Perfect for my edgy style.

  • I adore both your skirt and the flats! Totally classic. Interesting to see these pairing options; however, I think midnight navy silk blouse with exaggerated cuffs would be great. Maybe you will make a future post of your real life styling!

  • Ah, now this is why I look forward to KiC.
Sweaters that would shake up my collection and Hannah Barberra references.
    Thank you for the smile.

  • More posts with interesting edgy pieces, please! They are a great inspiration. I used to have an acquaintance whose idea of fashion shopping was to buy 3 or 4 identical Escada tops in different colors. Nothing wrong with that, but oh so boring. On the other hand, just looking at today’s KiC post provides the fashion mood and inspiration we all need these days. Thank you and would appreciate more of this for Fall wear!

  • I decided to take a closer look at Sacai via your past posts, which linked me to one from10-20-14, a profile on Natasha Fraser-Cavassoni, which is as fresh and relevant today as it was seven years ago!

  • The outfit is lovely. Especially the skirt. But I am surprised at the price, considering it’s largely an acrylic skirt. How does the industry allow this? What is the meaning of luxury nowadays?

  • Love the shoes!! Maura

  • Wow, I’ve added a Sacai denim and sweater piece and a tee with tweed to my list.

Also, I finally got around to reading A Good Neighborhood and really enjoyed it.

  • I Love the Sacai sweater. I like how you pair the edgy pieces with classics. It is a nice balance and keeps it from getting a bit too fashion for us more conservative folk 🙂
