NYFW: In The Trenches

It’s nice to see trenches out and about at SS22 NYFW courtesy of Vogue.

  • Both gorgeous. Adore the “matching “ skirt look. Went off trenches when I was younger and now don’t know you live without them.

  • I so appreciate your aesthetic and the style you publish on your website. In some of the photos I’ve seen of the street style from NYFW , it seems, in my very humble opinion, that for some people it’s just about shock value than fashion or style.

  • I immediately honed in on Suzanne Koller’s earring and ear cuff. I like the ear cuff with that large hoop earring.

  • These photos exude September energy! I always love a classic trench in classic khaki. Not so keen on black trench coats (have a bit of a villain vibe). Do you happen to know who makes the khaki trench and the adorable shoe with it?

  • I love the looks above, and both of these women look smart, stylish, adult, and chic. But after taking a look at the first dozen or so street style photos in Vogue’s link, I am convinced you found the only two stylish images on the street. In scrolling through Vogue’s photos, ‘clownish’ comes to mind. For too many women (and sadly, now men), it’s becoming a contest for who can draw the most attention to themselves. Right up there with the Met Gala, which is looking more ridiculous than ever at this time in history. Thank you for editing and curating!
