2021: The Year of the Family
This picture of the Assouline family is from a story in Air Mail. The profile focuses on the son, Alexandre Assouline, who is an integral part of his family’s publishing business. In a recent must-read post, my friend Kate Bellin declared 2021 “the year of the family”— I couldn’t agree more. My family, immediate and extended, was brought together by a major life event and ended up closer than ever before. For me, this was the highlight of 2021.

What's New
Well said. If anything good came out of these past two pandemic years, it’s the importance of love of family.
❤️
I agree! Reach out to family members and resolve differences. Family is forever.
Well said as always. I feel blessed to have loved and been so loved that I am so heartbroken. Becoming even closer with those still here is a gift. ❤️
I pray your holidays, everyone and things are great for you and your family. I agree with you, Family First and I cherish the few family members I have left. Take care! Tracy
What a wonderful post as we approach a New Year. Keeping my priorities in check (God, family, country, truth) is my New Year’s resolution every year.
Very well stated and a very silver lining of the pandemic. Happiest New Year to you and your beautiful family xo
