March Vogue

‘Desert Flowers’

These two pictures, from the March issue of Vogue, are on my inspiration board. Sara Moonves’ styling–  the white shirt with cargo pants and the shirtdress under the sweatshirt dress– is spot-on. The bold lip is good, too.

Golden Lobes

Of all the architectural statement earrings, these by J.W. Anderson are my favorites so far.

Love The Details

Red topstitching is one of my weaknesses and this Fendi FW17 coat is swoon-worthy. Love the triple bag, too.

Vogue Paris March Issue

‘Un Certain Sourire’

A beautiful blouse, red lip and nails, and big smile are the things that make this Vogue Paris story so fabulous. Model Othilia Simon, with her grown-up appeal, is perfectly cast.

Cargo Shorts

A few weeks ago I mentioned that I’ve pulled out my beloved (and sadly discontinued) Current/Elliott cargo pants and have been wearing them again. So, when I spied these J. Brand cargo-style shorts, you can bet that my heart skipped a beat.

SS17 Collection

Burberry’s Buy-Now

Within minutes of scrolling through Christopher Bailey’s SS17 Burberry show images I got emails from Net-A-Porter, Matches Fashion, Barneys, Saks, and Mytheresa to buy the looks immediately. With such a strong collection, I’m sure the house’s second season of see-now-buy-now items will be a huge success.

Issue 19 of Porter

Meow!, cont.

As I mentioned in yesterday’s post, the Vetements + Manolo Blahnik collaboration has a fab kitten-heel slingback, too. This story on the glorious Natalia Vodianova is in the current issue of Porter.

It’s no secret that I’m a block-heel fanatic and I still wear my Gucci Marmonts and Valentino Tan-Gos all the time, but for spring, I want a kitten-heel slingback. The 90s cult classic has been a street style-staple for a few seasons and was on the Dior and Vetements (in collaboration with Manolo Blahnik) SS17 runways. A navy pair with cropped jeans would be very chic, indeed.

Gianvito Rossi slingbacks- navy, denim, white, black satin, black patent, tan, red, pale pink, purple, and green

J.W. Anderson FW17

Trench Happy

Even though I’m all over belted coats right now, this J.W. Anderson FW17 trench is pretty fab. I would like to see it unbuttoned, though…
