I’m always eager to pick up the newest issue of Self Service. Vogue‘s Mark Holgate sat down with Ezra Petronio, cofounder of Self Service, to talk about the magazine’s upcoming 25th anniversary and a new travel and lifestyle magazine that’s in the works.

The trench is certainly the coat du jour. I need a new one, but I’m not sure which way to go—oversized, leather, long, traditional—there are so many options. The Wall Street Journal has the ultimate guide to this popular spring coat. Vogue sat down with stylist Suzanne Koller to talk about fashion shoots today.

One of my favorite styling tricks is wearing a cuff over a sleeve, either at the wrist or above the elbow. Chloé creative director Natacha Ramsay-Levi took this idea and ran with it in the amazing FW18 collection.

When I spied a concho belt on the Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini runway and then another one in the March issue of Vogue Paris, I pulled out mine above.
My sister went to boarding school in Arizona in the ’70s and every time we’d visit her my mother would buy a few pieces of Native American jewelry. I benefitted from these shopping sprees and cherish this Navajo concho belt circa 1880. Ebay has many.

I love this David Sims picture of Grace Elizabeth from March Vogue Paris, and the Prada shirt reminded me that I still need a black shirt. The one by Frame below is good because it’s oversized.
Giedre Dukauskaite in a Totême trench, Céline bag, and simple hoops makes updated classics look uber chic at MFW.

These are just a few images from a gorgeous story by Inez & Vinoodh in the Spring 2018 issue of i-D. Great casting, too.
A navy blazer with a white button-down and jeans is certainly a classic go-to look, but I’m inspired by the way these women have styled theirs. My friend Alyson of That’s Not My Age above breaks up a jumpsuit with a velvet blazer, and Lauren Santo Domingo below wears a Sacai parka/blazer combo. Thank you, Lissa, for the correction—I’d initially misidentified LSD’s jacket.

A few weeks ago I ran a post on evening wear with a picture of the Swedish designer Josephine Dahlin wearing an elegant Italian silk dress from her line Deitas. Then I spied Chalotte Groeneveld, a.k.a. The Fashion Guitar, wearing this dress from the SS18 collection. A wrap skirt and jacket with matching pants are also available in this gorgeous color.
With snow predicted for tonight then warmer temps next week, things are bound to get messy. My beloved LL Bean Duck boots, that I’ve had since boarding school, are great for mucky conditions. I’m obsessed with fisherman knit sweaters and wear them under parkas, windbreakers, and even duffel coats. Sometimes old-school is best.
Sweater and tons on Etsy, parka.
