On My Radar

Captivating Khaite

Not even two years old, Khaite has made it’s mark.  The stunning campaigns featuring Kirsty Hume and Sasha Pivovarova certainly have aided in extending the brand’s awareness. Although pricey, the quality (the cashmere is incredible) and simple design elements are what make Khaite such a standout.

The hoops in the Céline Resort collection are all really good, the sunglasses too.

On the Hunt For

Hoop Dreams

I’ve been on the hunt for a substantial pair of gold hoop earrings. The last pair I tried were way too big. These by Sophie Buhai seem to be the right size and heft. Tbc.

How To Tie

A Headscarf

A few readers asked how I wear a headscarf and the top left is my preferred style. Love these Hermès how-to cards.

Holiday Magazine

“Girl from North Country”

Stylist Géraldine Saglio used a bright headscarf on Julia Bergshoeff in Inez & Vinoodh’s story for the Danish issue of Holiday Magazine. I have my eye on a Gucci dark floral scarf—would be a nice fall tweak.

Vogue Paris

‘Femme Sous Influence’

The fifties-inspired structured bag is having quite a moment, especially in this November Vogue Paris story. I think it looks modern with jeans and an oversized sweater. BTW, the tee in that collage is getting rave reviews.

Holiday Magazine

The Danish Issue

The current issue of Holiday is all-about Denmark and I’m sure it’s packed with beautiful stories. Lachlan Bailey photographed Iselin Steiro as part of a bigger portfolio and the pictures are lovely—Clare Richardson’s styling is too.

Ines de la Fressange x Uniqlo

Ines de la Fressange’s shop in Paris is firmly on my radar these days and I love the pieces in her fall collaboration with Uniqlo. Sadly, by the time I  launched this post, the jacket was sold out in green. I’m sure with the high demand it will come back in stock. Also, this duffel coat has a higher wool content, a complaint on other versions from them.

T Magazine

‘What Lies Beneath’

A dress over trousers is one of my favorite looks and according to T Magazine it’s “the season’s sharpest silhouette.” Monochrome is the way to go in my book. This is a Louis Vuitton top over an Hermès dress and trousers—so chic.

Linda Wright Inspired

I follow Paris-based Linda Wright on Instagram and am besotted with her personal style. Born in Texas, the Ralph Lauren alum has lived in Paris for 38 years and has the shop Crimson, which sells the most beautiful cashmere ponchos.

But it’s her uniform of jeans (Dior above), cashmere sweaters, little blazers, and loafers or sneakers that keeps me checking her feed daily.
