I’m Hooked
While picking up my watch from being serviced, a woman looked at my handbag and said “I would never spend that much money on something that sits on the floor.” Point taken. In my lap while dining is a terrible option as well. The solution? A Carrie Atelier bag hook, it works like a charm. Sometimes Instagram knows exactly what I need (truly terrifying).

My college friend always quoted her Grand Mother who said, never sit your purse on the floor because you will never have any money. I live by this saying. Therefore, this hook is genius!
I’ve seen similar hooks before but this one is chic. Having your handbag on a hook and closer to you, is so much better than on the floor
My 35-year-old daughter-in-law recently pulled one of these out at a restaurant! I had seen them before in pictures, but not “in action”. I think it’s great! Who wants to put a nice bag on the floor?
Chic purse hook! Alessi also has nice purse hooks with a minimalistic cat or elephant design in silver. I have the elephant one and it is quite useful. The floor is the worst place for one’s bag! My bags are never on the floor at home-why tolerate this in a restaurant?
Preston, I use bag hooks from Amazon. They are called the Clipa Bag Hangers, they come in different metal colors and cost around $20, they are not as elegant as yours, but very light, I have one of them in all of my precious bags. I don’t even transfer them from bag to bag, they just “live” in the bags.
I’ve used one for years on my 35B, I also use it to hang in my closet at home (on the shelf, even stuffed, it floops inwards), but since I’ve downsized to a mini Evelyn it’s a conundrum how to keep it off the floor and also unwise to hang it on the back of a chair. Any helpful hints from the stylish KIC crew?
