Fall is certainly humming right along. I wanted to be in NY this fall, not back and forth to Paris as we have done for the past 6 years. Having a horse has added to my desire not to be away so often and for such long periods of time. We could get a dog (we have been dog-free for 5 years), preferably a Norwich Terrier.

A friend took me to see Other Desert Cities and it was fabulous! It was very fun to see Allison Janney in a stage production after finishing The Diplomat. I am reciprocating by taking my friend to Small Mouth Sounds in February.

May We Feed the King by Rebecca Perry is quirky and so good. I’m not sure I would have read it if it hadn’t been gifted to me, but I am glad I did. I have read most of the books on the 2026 Booker Prize shortlist.

I love the rolled sleeves in Look 27 from Phoebe Philo’s F Preview, and the beige The Row pumps from my Paris FW26 Wishlist post are stuck in customs. Fingers crossed.

I really like the F Preview bags and Gabriela Hearst has some interesting pieces for 2027.
