Use of Keep It Chic (“KIC”) is subject to the following Privacy Policies. These policies apply to all site visitors, customers, and all other users of the site. Who We Are

KIC (published at keepitchic.com) is owned and operated by Preston Davis Inc (“PDI”).

Your Data

While using KIC there are two types of data that may be collected from your visit — personal & anonymous.

Personal Information

KIC does not require you to register to use the site. The only times we ask for any specific personal data is information you voluntarily provide to us while interacting with the site. The information you provide is used to engage in community discussions (i.e…comments), send periodic emails (i.e..newsletters), and improve the site experience & services (i.e.. site analytics). We may share your information with trusted third parties who perform services on our behalf in operating the website, conducting our business and servicing clients and visitors. These parties assist in fulfilling the features & services offered on the site and agree to keep this information confidential. Your personal information will never be shared with unrelated third parties. We do not sell, license, or otherwise disclose any of your personal information to 3rd parties.

If you provide us with your personal information, you will be deemed to have consented to the collection, use and disclosure of such information as described in these policies.

Examples:

• When you leave comments on the site we collect your name, email address and consent in order to reduce automated spam and/or to contact you about your comment if needed.
• Your IP address and browser user agent string (this tells what kind of browser you are using & version) is captured and is commonly used to reduce automated spam and to better the experience for users of the site through analytics.
• Email Newsletter sign up requires your first name, email address & consent. Mailchimp is our email service provider and they house this data on our behalf. You may read their data policies here. Anonymous Data

We may record information relating to your use of the Site, such as the searches you undertake, the pages you view, your browser type, IP address, requested URL, referring URL, and timestamp information. This information is used for site usage analytics that allows us to improve the site’s performance, identify & resolve potential undesired behavior, and understand general user behavior & demographics. There is no identifiable personal information used in these processes

Opting Out of Emails

As noted above, Mailchimp is our email service provider and they house this data on our behalf. You may read their data policies here.

While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personally identifiable information, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us or receive from us. You acknowledge that the personal information you voluntarily share with us through KIC could be accessed or tampered with by a third party. No exchange of data over the Internet can be guaranteed as 100% secure. You agree that we are not responsible for any intercepted information shared through KIC without our knowledge or permission. Additionally, you release us from any and all claims arising out of or related to the use of such intercepted information in any unauthorized manner.
