Miranda Kerr in Isabel Marant boots
Although I am a self-proclaimed Isabel Marant nut, I shied away from the Western-inspired pieces from her Fall collection. However, the booties paired with black tights above are seriously chic and I may change my mind. I kept seeing them dressed-down with jeans, but with the Marant coat and Givenchy bag, these boots are anything but ranch-wear.

While shopping in Italy (on her 40th birthday), Gwyneth sports her trademark, low-key yet very chic, run-around style. I have been obsessing over a grey Balmain/Aurelie Bidermann tote, similar to the one above (Saint Laurent?), and now I really want it. The untucked button-down, jeans and booties is a fave basic uniform.
Not a fan of posting outfit pictures photographed on yours truly, I am thankful to the street photographers for snapping all the stylish women while they are out and about in the run-around looks we all live in (or want to). I mean, really, how many of us are walking the red carpet?

The matching stripes on Miranda Kerr and her son Flynn are adorable.

Miranda Kerr
Preston and I both like Australian model and wife of Orlando Bloom, Miranda Kerr, for her fresh, understated style. She never looks like she’s trying too hard and she has a kind of uniform–almost always a Céline tote in hand, simple pants, a nice blouse or top–that is simple and feminine. She never looks fussy. Just effortless. Who can argue with that?

Jennifer and I both like this outfit on Miranda Kerr and the simple shopper is the clincher for me. I love the color and simplicity. Miranda’s and Gaia’s below are by Celine but there are many versions available right now. This bag is the perfect alternative to a Birkin as it is lightweight and practical (and did I mention far less expensive?). A great way to add a shot of color to a sleek day look.

The neutral bag with the patterned sweater is pretty good too.
