On My Radar

Bits & Bobs

Hiking boots are my winter go-to and seriously stompy boots, like the ones on GP from a GOOP guide to winter layers, are growing on me. Well-loved totes never get old. I’m back on the hunt for leather pants and this picture of Géraldine Saglio from Vogue France is (still) my inspiration. And, Chanel launched a clean and sustainably sourced beauty line, No. 1 de Chanel — I’m all in.

:
  • The Chanel skin care line sounds amazing. I will be test driving that.

  • I’ve loved big stompy boots for years. Such a great way to add an edge to most anything.

  • Leather pants would look good right now. I’m not a trousers person and they’re everywhere. Thanks for the inspo.

  • There’s a terrific pair of leather pants (on sale!) on the Ann Mashburn site.

  • Leather pants have been a staple of mine for years, love them instead of jeans sometimes. Helmut Lang has beautiful leather also Akris and Joseph. I was just on the Chanel website looking at this, very intrigued so let us know what you think.

  • The leather pant outfit inspiration is on point. I love my Montelliana Hiking boots and just bought a pair of Mou trainers just to mix things up. I miss a big bag…with the pandemic I am always grabbing a small pouch or “fanny pack” to keep things light and easy. Would love your thoughts on the new Chanel line. I am all in on Dr. Sturm products but every few years I do like to mix things up. Happy New Year!
