Late Summer Tweak
As we enter the final stretch of the summer, the weather has, thankfully, cooled and I even had a sweater over my shoulders last evening while dining outdoors. But, it’s still sandals season and these caught my eye. I keep giving my sunglasses away so I ordered this pair, and a new plate to showcase tomatoes from the garden is a perfect late summer tweak.

All beautiful things as usual. I panicked needlessly about my tomatoes so a plate like this would be perfect. Isn’t it kind of nice to have a jacket or sweater handy? Having said that we are spending every possible moment outside warm or not. Actually went to in-laws cottage north of Parry Sound (Georgian Bay) last weekend and brought tights, hoodies and sweaters. It was SO HOT. Had to go to an outfitters and buy summer gear, spent 4 days in my bathing suit. Too funny. Hope your tomatoes are yummy.
I’m like you with dishes, its the little details. Love the sweater and those Dr Scholl style slides in ivory are very appealing.
