Ann Mashburn on The Cowboy Boot
After posting on my hunt for cowboy boots, designer Ann Mashburn (she has the best blog) sent me this adorable video where she talks about the boots she’s owned, the ones she designed, and how she wears them. Thanks, Ann!

Oh god, the boots are amazing – I love the heel height !
I live in Atlanta and go to her store where there is always a saleswoman wearing them. They are super chic.
Those brown suede boots may have to be mine.
Sold on this boot
I love the look of these boots. I have a western pair more than 10 years old, Cole Haan, that are a weathered purple leather that I love everything about, and another pair of western mules, also coincidentally CH, which are brown suede and were bought even earlier. I will never get rid of them, but I will entertain getting another pair. These are great looking, as is everything on Ann Mashburn’s site. Thanks!
Kismet. I’ve been searching for this exact style of cowboy boot! I just bought them in the dark brown suede and the black leather. Not sure I’ll keep both…but maybe. Thank you!
The dark brown suede is my favorite.
Being a mid-WESTerner and relating to all things wrangler, I appreciate the value of a good boot. I wear Ann Mashburn denims and agree with April that everything on her site is great looking (as is Ms. Mashburn). Your blog ties with Ann’s for best! You both have a distinct voice and offer something unique and worthwhile to the blogosphere.
I saw the boots the other day and immediately thought of you. I’ve never been to her store in Georgetown but when I get a break from work next week, I’m going to go check it out.
What a sweet video. The black suede are my favourite because I think () they would loosen up more quickly.
Love short cowboy boots, so versatile. If anyone wants to dip their toe in the water (no pun intended…) before making the AM boot plunge, Marc Fisher has a bunch of short cowboy boots/booties at a good price. Comfortable, and I’ve had a pair for a few years- even got them resoled and they’re still holding up well.
