The Pump in T The New York Times Style Magazine
I love this story in the recent issue of T The New York Times Style Magazine. But, what I love the most in this story is the low-heeled classic pumps. The ones above are by Marion Parke. I have pairs by Jimmy Choo, and Manolo Blahnik — they never go out of style.

They look fresh and young again! Wish I hadn’t purged!
Preston, I discovered Marion Parke several years ago after reading an article about stylish but comfortable shoes you can wear when you need to dress up. I have really high arches and just having a low heel doesn’t always make a difference. There’s something about the way MP designs the foot bed that allows you to not only walk, but stand comfortably. However, she only offers two heel heights, which is kind of disappointing. All that being said, I’m a Manolo fan as well…comfortable, classic, gorgeous.
A kitten heel black suede Prada pump is my most constant travel shoe. It has a beautiful shape heel and toe, and, best part, is pre-logo era. If it were offered again today, I would buy it in a heartbeat.
My Prada pumps are the ones I reach for the most — couldn’t find a current pair to link to. All have a triangle logo.
Miss Preston, What if we ask your wonderful shoe cobbler to work magic and get that (fill in adjective here) logo off??
