Red Hot
Red ruled the FW23 runways — it was the color. The bright primary hue looked spectacular amid a sea of neutrals. A few years ago I toyed with adding a red Gucci 1955 Horsebit bag to my collection, then it went out of production. With the house’s move away from fashion theatrics and its embrace of classic archival designs, the reissuance of the red 1955 Horsebit bag is timely. And, there’s no denying that the red coat in The Row’s FW23 collection was a showstopper and will undoubtedly be seen out and about this fall.

OBSESSED Chic⭐️ Chic⭐️ Chic
I just watched Charade on long haul flight and was admiring Audrey Hepburn’s red coat with the chic collar and gloves. I haven’t owned one since the early 90’s – love how it’s worn with beige here instead of the usual black and the low block heel shoe.
That coat is divine! It is the perfect tomato red, which is the best shade of red, imo.
My favorite look (for myself) from the shows recently. Will be adding to wardrobe! Love the red Horsebit bag, would be a beautiful piece in your collection. As always, thanks for the great posts Preston.
Oh my! Beautiful!
I love the bag, Preston! I have the red Gucci Princeton loafers and they are great.
The coat is just stunning!!
Ooh absolutely beautiful coat. Didn’t think I’d like the bag but it’s growing on me and I also love my red Jordaan loafers. Thinking.
That coat is beautiful and I love red accessories. I don’t think I can wear red well, but what I love about the color is it only takes a touch of it to create a dominate effect on an outfit. A red bag, glove, or shoe makes the entire look memorable.
This brings back a lovely memory of shopping at Loehmanns with my mother…I needed a winter coat. I wanted to buy one in black, of course, she encouraged me to get the same coat in red. I got the red coat.
My mother has been gone for 30 years…she always loved me in red.
This red looks great! I continue to hope Gucci will reissue Jordaans in red, navy, ox blood!
