Code Red
A little red goes a long way. A The Row oversized tote, Ganni boots (on sale and perfect for my trip to Wyoming end of this month), and a Clé de Peau Beauté lipstick are a good way to wear a bit of the fiery hue.

These are great ways to wear red. It’s a good reminder to bring my red tote in for a hardware update. A friendly tip for your boots: as you may know, real cowboys stack their jeans. You can google “stacked cowboy jeans” for a visual. When you wear boots, you want your jean inseam a bit longer than usual, so that your jeans stack or scrunch around the ankles. The idea is that, when you’re in the saddle and your knees bend, your jeans don’t pull up over your ankles. A regular inseam over cowboy boots says “I don’t ride,” even though you might actually ride English. 🙂 Enjoy your trip!
I live in Jackson and think the red boots are cute – perfect for Sunday “church” at the Coach in Jackson. My go to though are St. Laurent jodhpur tan suede booties – they go with everything! I’m sure you are in touch but check out Lela’s new store in Wilson while you’re there. Also for hats – JK Bennett’s are the best.
Perfect pops of red. That bag by The Row is stunning. My touch of red these days is via a mani/pedi. Can’t wait to hear about your trip to Wyoming, please share your itinerary with us when you’re back. Enjoy! Marcheline Isabelle
You are speaking my language with that bag, it’s gorgeous. I’ve never been disappointed in anything I bought from Ganni although much of it is too girly for me. These boots are one of their best. I think you’ll love Wyoming.
I used to have the most. beautiful red cowboy boots that I wore with a YSL flow dress, given to me by a good friend who worked for WWD. I think it was my favorite outfit of all time. The bag is gorgeous too.
In the ’70s I had a red pair of Tony Roma’s — wish I still had them…
That red bag is LOVELY.
