So excited for this issue!
Fabulous! Not only does she look good for her age (sorry, Jennifer Aniston!), she looks amazing for any age – such a timeless beauty!
Chic!
Classic and unassuming. Do yourself a favor and rewatch The Umbrellas of Cherbourg. It still holds up. ☂️☂️
Stunning, classic, and very chic. The styling and photography on Jennifer Aniston is beautiful.
So beautiful and stylish! Ms. Deneuve is the female counterpart to Ralph Lauren and Paul Newman. How I miss talented and tasteful women and men like them.
Yes, very chic.
So stunning!
She has always been breathtakingly beautiful and a very talented actress. However, I think that can be stated without downgrading another women, or any one.
I’ve loved her since she appeared in Mississippi Mermaid. She was breathtakingly beautiful and clothed in YSL. If you haven’t seen the film, I please do!
I believe the reference to Jennifer Aniston is referring to her dislike of using the phrase “for her age” when referring to a woman looking good. That is never said about a man.
Nina requested that her comment be edited.
I just re-watched Potiche last night, thanks to this post. It was made in 2010, and stars Catherine Deneuve and Gerard Depardieu. She is SO charming and funny in it and I can’t recommend it enough. And yes, she plays and older wife, hair rollers and all! She’s a great comedian!
Being over 65, I think it’s perfectly fair to make a comment regarding looks in reference to a person’s age. I hear it used in reference to men all the time as well. For his age, George Clooney looks good, too. I don’t think it’s a ‘downgrade’ to any other men to say this out loud. 🙂
Ms Deneuve… the hair .
Gorgeous hair and style
About 25 years ago, a good friend of mine was wandering through the Smithsonian on a weekday and saw Catherine Deneuve standing about 10 feet from him. She was being given a private tour of the museum. My friend said she was absolutely stunning and beautifully dressed. Everything about her was discreet and subtle. He had always admired her and still smiles when he talks about that afternoon.
In 2008 I visited Paris and viewed Miss Deneuve on a billboard where she seemed to be half asleep. Also she was propped up on some type of board, stirring my imagination to considering she was about to be buried at sea. Over 50 years in movie business at the time could cause someone to feel a lot of fatigue. Her romances are famous and she has achieved a good deal of success in the world of entertainment. Maybe staring into space wondering what’s left for her tally of achievements. Still pretty.
