Squeeze Me
I’m with Jo Ellison, editor of FT’s How To Spend It β I, too, would love a Loewe Squeeze bag. Will I buy one? Probably not. But if Santa tucks one under the tree I won’t complain. Small in chocolate would make me very happy. Chain extends to wear crossbody. Bergdorf Goodman has a few.

Adorable! And I love the chocolate brown. I was a doubter on brown, but it’s inching its way into my heart!
On the topic of bags, thanks to my daughter’s keen eye in Paris last month, I have a wonderful new resource for totes that are in the style of my LP cognac suede tote from last fall ’22 and definitely channeling Dior’s Book Bag, minus the logo mojo, and minus the designer price tag. Wool, tweed, quilted cotton denim, detachable cross-body welt strap . . .
Looking forward to hearing about Thanksgiving preparations, especially the pie!
Paula, please share! I’ve always admired the Dior Book Tote – so practical! – but I agree that it is too logo heavy.
The chain on The Squeeze Bag is a nice touch. Jewelry for your handbag. Chic.

Extend the chain to wear it crossbody.
Paula, I am currently in Paris and would love the source for the tote bag. Thank you! Kris
I love the bag, especially the chocolate brown. I just donβt love the logo on the outside and wish it was more discreet.
Happy to share! Located in the very stylish Les Jardins du Palais Royale. The website is beautiful as well!

I should have said ‘new to me.’ The line isn’t brand new. Perhaps Preston has already posted on this and I forgot?! π
Thank you for sharing this! I will pop by next week. xp
I love these bags. Like Paula, I happened upon one in France (hotel du cap gift shop) and have been a fan ever since. So chic.
The Rue de Verneuil bags can also be purchased stateside on a few sites (like Goop and Tuckernuck) but the store in Paris has a much larger selection. There is similar company called L’Uniform (near the Musee D’Orsay) which also has an outpost in the Bon Marche. Those are just canvas but you can get them monogrammed while you wait.
