I Still 🤎 Brown
Burgundy and muted greens are big for fall, but I’m sticking with shades of brown — they suit me and look great paired with grey and black.

Same girl, same!!!
I’ve never been one for burgundy (except for the wine). It always felt “old”, like it was my mother’s color. Even now, deeply entrenched in middle age…I can’t bring myself to wear it. But I so love the richness of a yummy chocolate brown and how lovely it would pair with the greens of the season. That’s definitely in my color wheel.
All three of those colors look good on me, but I’m with you on brown. When the fashion cycle puts it at the forefront as it’s doing now, I replenish and stock up my wardrobe with all shades of brown I can find. And I do love a rich chocolate brown with grey and black!
Brown and navy. My favorite color combination. Brown and white is also great.
The trench with the brown bag and shoe is beautiful to my eye. Dior rarely misses. And I love a white bicycle, bought my first bike using my own money in white in ninth grade, my high school transportation. Do ninth graders ride bikes any more?
Brown is always a good idea. I’m partial to the tan tones paired with the green cap.
I’m going against the flow here, but I love burgundy, Cordovan and wine colors. There are some wine colored Bass loafers on their way to my house right now.. Maybe it’s coloring, but brown doesn’t do much for me, unless it’s a deep espresso brown. Someone mentioned burgundies looked old, and that is exactly why I like it. There’s a timelessness about wine colors.
Buying (and eating) all the chocolate I can this season!!
Do I spy Rebecca Leigh Longendyke in those images? Looking incredible!
