Spring Gifting

Nothing makes me happier than seeing items that I wore and loved being worn and loved by my daughters and friends. Makes spring cleaning a bit sweeter.

LOVE these photos! Beautiful pieces on beautiful ladies – you’re wonderful Preston xo
Especially the daughters of friends! Funny how the next generation claims rights to their mother’s closet! I truly love the spirit of gifting to the next generation rather than resale. It’s also a great argument for splurging on that piece you’ve been eying. My motto, “You’re not just buying it for yourself, but for future generations too”.
I love gifting my girls and enjoy when everything gets a second life!
I love the black bag!
I love this! This is one of the (many) things I’m looking forward to doing with my daughter and the next generation. Great motto, Lisa!
Charming and chic! Giving things away sooner rather than later is smart – while the enthusiasm is high and you can have the pleasure of seeing them using it! Watching daughters/young adults develop their own style while incorporating bits and pieces of our own is a joy.
I don’t have daughters and my beloved niece left this world too early, but I remember the pleasure of seeing her wearing and reinventing my most beloved pieces. Thank you Preston for reminding us the pleasure of giving.

I couldn’t love this post more. My grandmothers, and mother all employed this wonderful philosophy . I was the lucky receiver of their generosity. Now, I too, have the pleasure of being on the other side. Win, win
So sweet! Happy Easter.
There are many things to appreciate in this post. The Chanel purse—that color—is so nice!
That! I agree; it feels so rewarding when I give something to a friend, see them wearing it all the time, and truly enjoy it. It makes me feel like the item is getting the love it deserves.
