This post is pretty straight forward. A large Cartier Tank on a leather strap has been on my wish list for a very long time. When I spied Suzi de Givenchy’s watch (Santos?), it leapt to the top of said list.

Preston, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. You just get me. I have a milestone event coming up in 2022 and was considering this dainty tennis bracelet, but I’ve recently changed my tune and think a Cartier tank watch is a practical, chic, forever piece that I can wear every day. Substance and style go hand in hand, honestly the watch was the last thing I noticed. She wears everything so well!
My eye goes to what is on her right hand – the gold link bracelet(s?). Finding a link bracelet that doesn’t feel like I just sprung jail is a challenge. I don’t want too dainty either. This one looks just right.
I love the deployment buckle so much. I bought a men’s Cartier ballon bleu last year with a navy leather strap and deployment buckle – not fiddling with little holes makes all the difference to me for some reason and makes me love wearing a watch with a strap.

I wear a similar gold link bracelet that is lightweight but substantial and a gorgeous layering piece! Blue Nile has many beautiful options similar to it.

I think it’s the men’s Santos which comes with an interchangeable leather and metal strap. Looks like you may prefer the smaller of the two sizes.
The model in the pic is a TANK AMÉRICAINE. I think it’s a nice update on the traditional tank, more elegant.

I love the simplicity of my Tank and wear it almost everyday.
Changing it up with the new tan band,after 20 years of black, gave it and I a lift.
