I 🖤 Fall Fashion
Many September issues are out and I’ve been pulling images for an inspiration board. A quirky knit like the Miu Miu bonnet, camel coats, a snippet from Tiffany’s new ad campaign, and the dreamiest Chanel knee-length skirt are all getting me excited for a change of seasons.
I don’t see a role for the bonnet in my life, but I can always relate to a gorgeous camel coat and classic knee-length skirts/dresses. I’m grieving the loss of the iconic Tiffany store on Fifth . . . the last bit of Tiffany heritage that I know of. I don’t even know who owns it any more, but thankful they ditched the ad campaign with ‘celebrities.’
that is camel heaven!
You know how to get a girl excited for fall. ❤️ Everything but the bonnet sorry.
Love the camel monochromatic clothes! Any monochromatic look in cashmere or alpaca always wins in my book. Almost all jewelry is good too–love the bracelet; more is almost always better. But like Paula and Sue, I think that the “bonnet” is a miss. It reminds me of a bandage worn in the past post face-lift or wisdom teeth removal. I’d prefer a crocheted close fitting “helmet” , as seen in old 60’s fashion magazines.
Sorry…the bonnet reminds me of someone wearing their mask under their chin.
Would love your thoughts on Fall shoes. I live in Vermont and struggle with stylish shoes, all the lug sole boots are not my thing.
I’m heading to Burlington in a few hours. Will give this some thought.
Lone fan of the bonnet. I find it adorable – not wearable for me, but I would if I lived in a cold climate. As for Nancy, I love lug soled shoes, and wear them a lot even though not needed wear I live.
Balaclavas, Bonnets. I have been wanting one for a while. They are utilitarian and practical and a little different from all of the knit hats I see hipsters wearing. I will board the bonnet bus with you.
That Chanel photo is dreamy. Love the skirt, the curls, the view…
