To Read

Books In The Queue

As busy as it is right now, I’m reading/listening a lot. Audible while walking helps me stay on track, especially with considerable reads like Jonathan Franzen’s Crossroads, which I am thoroughly enjoying, and The Lincoln Highway by Amor Towles for January book club. At 500 plus pages each, I use every spare moment. Last in the queue are Ann Patchett’s These Precious Days and Small Things Like These by Claire Keegan — all make perfect last minute gifts, as well.

  • I bought three copies of Ann Patchett’s These Precious Days—two to give as gifts and one for myself on my Kindle. It is one of the best books I’ve ever read about love, friendship, marriage, family, reading, writing and making sense of the crazy world we live in. I can’t recommend it highly enough!

  • Audible while walking is a treat. My current Audible favorite is Wilding by Isabella Tree.
