NET-A-PORTER Launches Resell Service

Over the last two years I’ve tracked down a number of items on my the-ones-that-got-away list. Like the Chloé SS17 skirt above, all were found on resale sites. Now, NET-A-PORTER is joining in with it’s own resell service that they claim will be effortless. And, I’m sure it will be, their shopping and shipping services epitomize effortless.

  • This is great! Will they update their site to buy the pre-loved items? I’m hoping that will be easy to search up those items if you want to buy them.

  • The premise sounds attractive, but I continue to be concerned that resell sites inadvertenly enable shoplifters and others who steal to profit from crime. How do these resell sites prevent the selling of stolen merchandise?
